Solarzentrum Allgäu is a medium-sized business specialized in electronics. With the introduction of the Renewable Energy Sources Act on 29.03.2000 the Solarzentrum Allgäu specialized on sale, assembly and installation of photovoltaic plants.
In this connection, in 2006, photovoltaic plants amounting to 2.1 MW ( that is a turnover of about 8.4 m € ) were installed and started running. In 2007 those numbers could be increased to 4.0 MW ( 16m €).
